COD VANGUARD - HAPPY HUNTING
For the longest time, Call of Duty Zombies was immensely popular amongst a very niche set of gamers. In Vanguard the return of the original WWII Nazi zombies mode gave us the opportunity to widen the appeal of the mode and bring cultural zombies fans into the Call of Duty franchise. Our insight, the only thing better than killing a zombie, is killing a Nazi zombie, led us to placing zombie heads as taxidermy trophies on a street in London for a fun scare prank. That was quickly followed by zombie heads in boxes delivered to 10 influencers as a way to get additional reach and give them the opportunity to scare their friends and make a video of their own.
